Bandaru Dattatreya, born on 12 June 1947, is a distinguished Indian statesman currently holding the esteemed position of Governor of the State of Haryana since 2021. Prior to assuming this role, he served with distinction as the 20th Governor of Himachal Pradesh and represented the Secunderabad constituency in the Lok Sabha from 2014 to 2019, all while being a dedicated member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Hailing from the city of Hyderabad, Dattatreya earned a degree in science and embarked on his political journey by joining the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in 1965. His unwavering commitment to public service was evident when he faced imprisonment during The Emergency. In 1991, he secured his first election to the Lok Sabha from the Secunderabad constituency. Subsequently, in 1997, he assumed the role of the party president for the state unit. In 1998, Dattatreya was re-elected and served with distinction as the Union Minister of State for Urban Development in the second Vajpayee ministry. His dedicated service to public welfare continued as he secured a third consecutive term in 1999, once again serving as a Minister of State in the third Vajpayee ministry.
Despite electoral setbacks in 2004 and 2009, Dattatreya's resilience and commitment to public service remained unwavering. In 2013, he was honored with the appointment as the national vice-president of the BJP. In May 2014, he triumphantly reclaimed the Secunderabad constituency in the Lok Sabha elections. Later that year, he was appointed with distinction as the Minister of State for Labour and Employment in the Modi ministry, showcasing his leadership and becoming the lone minister representing Telangana.

Bharati Pravin Pawar is an esteemed Indian politician presently serving as the Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare of India since July 7, 2021. Additionally, she holds the position of Minister of State for Tribal Affairs, a role she assumed on December 7, 2023. Her political journey led her to the 17th Lok Sabha, where she represents the Dindori constituency in Maharashtra, having been elected in the 2019 Indian general election as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Born on September 13, 1978, in Narul-Kalwan, an Adivasi region of Nashik, Maharashtra, Bharati Pawar completed her MBBS degree in 2002 from N.D.M.V.P's Medical College, Nashik. She is married to Pravin Pawar and is the daughter-in-law of former minister Arjun Tulshiram Pawar.
Bharti Pawar initiated her political career as a Member of Zilla Parishad and contested the Lok Sabha election in 2014 as a Nationalist Congress Party candidate, though she faced defeat. In 2019, she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, winning the election and subsequently becoming a Member of Parliament in the 17th Lok Sabha.
Notably, she has received recognition for her contributions, being awarded the Best Women Parliamentarian by Lokmat Media Group in December 2019. Her father-in-law, an eight-time MLA from the same region, had served as the minister of state for tribal welfare in the First Deshmukh ministry of the Government of Maharashtra.
Bharati Pravin Pawar has held various positions throughout her political career, including Member of Zilla Parishad from 2012 to 2019. In the 17th Lok Sabha, she has served on several important committees, such as the Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare, the Committee on Petitions, and the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Her notable achievement includes becoming the Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in July 2021, marking a significant representation for the Nashik region after 59 years. Furthermore, she holds the distinction of being the first female union minister from Nashik.
